That would be a blast! Will Tomas Soucek win the Premier League Player of the Season award?
If the Czech representative succeeds in the intense competition, he could win the most important individual award of his career. Will he succeed?
If the Czech midfielder succeeds in the tough competition, he could win the most important individual award of his career. Will he succeed?
That would be a bomb, just imagine! Tomáš Souček could become the Premier League’s best player for the 2020/2021 season, a season in which he was very successful individually.
He was the first Czech Republic player to break the double-digit goalscoring mark in the top flight. He shone in other statistics as well, and in most of the individual ones he reached the imaginary first place in his club.
Still, the nomination for the EA SPORTS Player of the season award, the Premier League Player of the Year, comes as a slight surprise. The majority of the nominations feature players who are amongst the absolute best in the world, with strikers having the biggest representation. In fact, the number of goals scored is a popular metric of a player’s success.
Tomáš Souček finds himself in very select company. Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias of Manchester City, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United, Jack Grealish of Aston Villa, Harry Kane of Tottenham, Mason Mount of Chelsea and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool are nominated for the Player of the Season award.
All of the above have had a great year, now it will just depend on the number of votes each individual contender receives for the award. Want to support Tomáš Souček and help him to the prestigious award? Then visit the official Premier League or EA Sports websites.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed for the Czech national team too!
