Bayern Munich are currently experiencing a very successful summer transfer window. After Gravenberch, de Ligt or Mané, the very promising 17-year-old striker Mathys Tel is coming in. However, for his age, the German giant will pay a lot of money for him.

Noussair Mazraoui, Ryan Gravenberch, Sadio Mané, Matthijs de Ligt – this is the list of the biggest stars Bayern Munich have already brought in during the current transfer window. The German big club has spent €117.5 million for these four stars.

It should be added, Mazraoui came to Ajax for free. Yes, Niklas Süle, Corentin Tolisso and Robert Lewandowski will no longer defend the colours of the Bavarian side, but Bayern have brought in more than adequate replacements.

And now comes another player who is a great acquisition with the future in mind. Bayern thus once again shows great management and what a flair the leaders of this club have for strengthening the cabin.

The Frenchman Tel will wear the Bayern jersey in the future. According to Fabrizio Romano, the young top striker has signed a 5-year contract and in total it will cost Bayern 28 and a half million euros.

While that’s a rather large sum for a striker who is only 17 years old and has only made seven starts in the French top flight, it will almost certainly pay off handsomely for Bayern in the future.

Tel, however, has already captained the under-17 national team that dominated the European Championships in Israel in the spring. It was then that Tel scored three goals and was his team’s top scorer. Although he has not scored a single goal in Ligue 1 so far, he has scored six goals in six starts for the reserves.

He will become the most expensive player on the planet in the under-17 category when all bonus payments are made. The record in this respect was held by Jude Bellingham, who transferred to Borussia Dortmund for €25 million in 2020.
