Thank God we scored two goals. The chance for promotion is still alive, sounds from Pilsen after the loss
Viktoria Plzeň suffered a shameful defeat, but it could have been much worse. Before the 89th minute, the score was still 4:0, but in the end the Westerners lost 4:2. How do the Victorians rate the match?

A black week for Czech teams in the European Cups was topped off on Thursday by Viktoria Plzeň. They lost 4:2 to the Welsh side and it could have been much worse.
But would Viktoria’s performance have been that poor? “It was a game where we attacked and the opponent was dangerous to our goal from every situation,” said coach Michal Bílek.
“The score 0:4 looked horrible, thank God we scored two goals towards the end and our chance to advance is still alive,” added the West Bohemians coach.
” Unfortunately, we were punished for everything. We hit them at any glitch, or it took us too long.”
According to Bilek, Viktoria is the better team football-wise. However, that is not decisive, which the Pilsen coach is aware of. He knows that it is necessary to avoid defensive mistakes.
“We have a lot to work on for the next game. We have to really improve,” added the former national team coach.
“Let’s be happy for the two goals we scored at the end. I believe it will kick us into gear and we will come back and advance next week,” added Bílka Bucha.
