Target for rematch? We have to play with better confidence, improve mentally. Another thing is to change the formation, Trpišovský admitted

Slavia have not been in optimal form in recent matches. It was winning matches, but it felt that it was not close to unnecessary losses that would take it away from the title.
On Thursday, coach Jindřich Trpišovský’s team played a game in Rome, Italy, where they faced AS. The goal was a solid defense, but in the first minute all plans fell apart.
“The bad start definitely had an impact, it calmed the opponent down, he could play his game. On the contrary, it hurt us, it was visible in our inaccuracies and misses. The opponent jumped into the game the way we didn’t want to, with one spike player and two sub spikes, two spikes would have been better for us.
It disturbed us a bit at the beginning of the game, then we regrouped and we were more confident defensively,” said coach Trpišovský at the press conference. He was praised by José Mourinho himself before the game.
Slavia did not take a point from Italy, but nobody expected that. It is not too far away from promotion, it has six points after three matches and has everything in its hands.
Something needs to change for the rematch
In two weeks time they will play AS again, but this time coach Mourinho’s team will challenge them in Eden. It is certain that they have to change something compared to yesterday’s game, but what will it be?
“One thing is entering the game, but we have to play with better confidence, improve the mental side. We have to be more annoying and intrusive, not to leave so much space to the opponent, now we were often too far away from them. Another thing is the change of formation, but it’s hard to say how the opponent will start for us.
We need to keep on the ball more, as we did in the second half, the first half was a festival of technical errors from us. Sometimes we weren’t even under pressure, but we had a lot of respect, we didn’t go to the end when we could have. We have to change the setup, be more unpleasant for the opponent, but most importantly more precise in combination,” added the experienced coach.
