Talovjerov to West Ham? England is said to be interested in the Slavia back, he impressed at the U21 European Championship

Maksym Talovjerov could do with a decent promotion. After excellent performances at the European Under-21 Championship, he was selected by West Ham, with whom Slavia has a superior relationship.

He was supposed to be the future of Slavia. In České Budějovice, Talovjerov showed great quality, but in Eden he practically didn’t get any space in his strongest and natural position – stopper.

Jindřich Trpišovský saw him as a second Tomáš Souček and tried to turn him into a central midfielder at any cost. But this role did not suit Talovjer at all and his performance was not good. He played as a guest player in Liberec and was again very solid.

However, Slavia did not count on him at stopper, so he left for LASK Linz in the winter. There they were also very happy with him and he earned a nomination to the EURO U21, where he helped Ukraine to the semi-finals with his excellent performances.

It was there that he was to be scouted by West Ham representatives. According to Ukrainian Sport.ua, he was the main target of the club’s scouting and currently showed interest in the 23-year-old stopper.

If the transfer would actually happen, most likely Taloveryov would head immediately on loan, as he would not get enough space in the current squad.

For Slavia, an interesting sale of Talovjerov would be the best solution as he is not in their plans. West Ham have good experience with the Red and Whites, having brought Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal from Vršovice, and both are among the team’s main players.

However, Jaroslav Tvrdík let it be known on Thursday that representatives of LASK Linz have arrived in Eden and are interested in buying Talovjerov permanently. The player and his agent are reportedly waiting for a better offer. Will it be the one from West Ham?
