Swansea vs. Bournemouth: preview and betting tips
Bournemouth can move closer to promotion to the Premier League on Tuesday as they face Swansea in Wales and are currently four points clear of second place. What to expect from the game and what to bet on?
Swansea have struggled this season and are not seeking promotion to the Premier League for the first time in years. Three draws from the last three rounds have definitely put it out of the game, with three rounds to go the Welsh side is nine points behind the Top 4.
Bournemouth could have been assured of promotion to the English elite long ago, but they have won only one of their last five games. From the second place, they now have a two-point lead over third-placed Huddersfield, with two games to spare.
If not for Joël Piroe, Swansea might still be fighting for salvation, the Dutch talent scored twenty goals and assisted six times. Irishman Michael Obafemi made eleven saves and added an assist.
In the away jersey, Dominic Solanke was scorching, the burly playmaker scored twenty-seven goals and assisted six times. Danish central midfielder and international Philip Billing has been in on fifteen league goals (8+7).
Swansea have struggled in attack in recent weeks, scoring more than one goal in only two of their last five games.
They will have a tough time against Bournemouth as the Cherries have only scored once in the last four rounds.
Considering the form of the visitors’ defence and the fact that Swansea have nothing to play for anymore, I think Bournemouth will win.
