In Slovakia, they are trying to promote vaccination with the help of football, thanks to which every vaccinated fan of Bratislava Slovan can go to non-league matches for free.
Slovan Bratislava is promoting vaccinations and offering its fans an excellent support event that will allow fans to be back in their stadium seats.
Every Slovan Bratislava fan who proves to be vaccinated will have free entry to the stadium.
And not just for one game, but straight to the next five games, including the Champions League preliminary round matches.
In total, the club is making 10,000 tickets available for each match, a truly unprecedented move.
“Slovan Bratislava supports all the people and institutions that are trying to accelerate the vaccination of the population against Covid-19. We see vaccination as the fastest and most effective weapon against this insidious disease,” said Slovan coach Vladimír Weiss Sr.
Now the question is how the event will work and how many vaccinated people will visit the stadium. However, the attendance is expected to be big for the last time.
