Super Bowl shooting claims at least one life

At least one dead and nine injured in a shooting at the Super Bowl festivities in Kansas. Kansas City was shrouded in a cloud of fear and sadness after a wonderful start to the week.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the 49ers in the second overtime in Super Bowl history on Monday. It’s Kansas City’s fourth title in history. They were about to end the season with a celebration in downtown Kansas City.

The situation Kansas City is going through is unimaginable. On Monday, they won the title in the most watched Super Bowl in history.

After their victory on Monday, thousands of fans gathered at Union Station on Wednesday to celebrate the title. But no one expected what could happen on the spot.

The Super Bowl experienced a night of terror

At least one dead and nine injured, according to US media. Three are in critical condition, five in serious condition and one in non-life-threatening condition.

Police have asked all Chiefs fans to leave the area and not to leave their homes. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to Twitter to comment on the situation. 

A senior White House official, who is said to be monitoring the situation, also commented to NBC.
