Europa League
Successful shooters Bah and Masopust praised the fans! Their choreo was photographed by a former ambassador!
Alexander Bah scored only his second goal in the Legia jersey, the 3-month break was worth it, his goal was an exhibition! Slavia captain Lukáš Masopust contributed to the 2-2 draw with an assist and a goal in the opening game of the Europa League play-offs.
Alexander Bah scored only his second goal in the Legia jersey, the 3-month break was worth it, his goal was an exhibition! Slavia captain Lukáš Masopust contributed to the 2-2 draw with an assist and a goal in the opening game of the Europa League play-offs. Both players, who usually operate on the right side of the pitch, saw the match in a similar way and appreciated the fans. Former ambassador Libor Sečka also enjoyed the football!
The Danish speedster scored his first goal in the red and white jersey on 2 May in the Viktoria Plzeň net. Since then, he has been getting chances, but the goal still hasn’t come. But as they say, he who waits, waits, and Bah’s goal was really worth the wait. After a nicely played corner, he hit it really well!
Lukáš Masopust, who scored the last goal of the game, assisted on the beautiful goal. The fans saw 4 goals in the first half between Slavia and Legia, but the second half did not offer any goal joy.
The overall score of the match is 2: 2 and the promotion will be decided in Warsaw. Slavia is the stronger team, but the promotion is far from certain, Legia can defend well and if they manage to score the first goal at home, the Susians will have a really hard time.
Praise from the fans from the mouths of the successful scorers
Both scorers saw the match in a similar way. They felt they were the better team and should have got a better end result from the game. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen and the double match will be decided in Poland.
“Overall, I would like to thank the fans very much, they supported us throughout the match. It’s great to have them back in the stadium. It’s just a blast,” said Masopust.
“I don’t have words to describe this support. Every time we play here, they are there for us until the 90th minute, no matter what. I enjoy playing here every time. Hopefully we will repay them with a win in Poland,” said Bah about the Sešice fans.
Former ambassador Libor Sečka took photos of the choreo
The former ambassador to Great Britain Libor Sečka has only been in Prague for a short time, but he immediately visited his beloved sport! In London, he was a West Ham fan and in the Czech Republic, he obviously prefers Slavia. He even took a picture of the hilarious choreo.
Under his tweets from Eden there were also comments from Hammers fans who liked Sečka very much.
