Substitution? Nothing for Balotelli! See how Simon Deli’s new teammate took his anger out, hitting his teammate too
The name Mario Balotelli needs little introduction to football fans. Everyone knows immediately that he is a footballer who had a huge talent, but his explosive nature and, one might say, stupidity, hampered his career. Now he’s showing off in a new engagement in Turkey.
The name Mario Balotelli needs little introduction to football fans. Everyone knows immediately that he is a footballer who had a huge talent, but his explosive nature and, one might say, stupidity, hampered his career. Now he’s showing off in a new engagement in Turkey.
Mario Balotelli lasted three games in the Turkish Super League before he drew all the attention to himself again. And yes, once again, it wasn’t because of his footballing prowess.
The Italian footballer joined Adana Demirspor this summer, the Turkish club also announced the transfer of former Slaven player Simon Deli last week. Adana Demirspor first lost 0: 1 to Fenerbahce, then drew 1: 1 with Kayserispor, Balotelli notched a goal assist.
In the third round, the newcomer played against Konyaspor, coach Samet Aybaba made a substitution in the 56th minute in the tie. Okwuchukwu Ezeh replaced Mario Balotelli, which made the former Manchester City striker very angry.
Balotelli initially got a few swear words out of himself, even throwing his pads on the ground in anger. When even that didn’t help him get his anger out, he subsequently punched his teammate.
So Simon Deli probably has something to look forward to in his new job. The naughty child of Italian football will not be easy to get along with.
