Suárez has no shortage of offers. Will the star striker leave Europe? World Cup is the priority, he’s clear

Luis Suárez is now 35 years old and unattached. He is not only one of the best strikers of his generation, but of football history in general. It is no wonder, therefore, that he has no shortage of offers. Unfortunately for European football fans, however, he is likely to disappear from Europe.

Luis Suárez is now 35 years old and unattached. He is not only one of the best strikers of his generation, but of football history in general. It is no wonder, therefore, that he has no shortage of offers. Unfortunately for European football fans, however, he is likely to disappear from Europe.

Suárez has conquered Europe

If it wasn’t for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suárez might have won several individual awards and even the Ballon d’Or. Still, he can be extremely proud of his career.

The Uruguayan sharpshooter has given joy to fans of Groningen, Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid. He has scored 436 competitive goals on the European club scene and has also collected 240 assists. In short, outstanding numbers.

He has been Spanish champion five times, won the Champions League and the Club World Cup, and also collected trophies with Ajax and Liverpool. After being written off by Barcelona, he shot to the title with Atlético. And at 35, he’s still got European football on his mind.

Will he conquer America?

Luis Suárez is now a free agent. A return to his native Uruguay is in the cards, where there is already all sorts of speculation about which club he will sign for. However, the star striker has revealed that he also has offers from the American MLS.

And given the way he answered questions about his future, it’s safe to assume that he could be headed to the increasingly popular overseas competition. Suárez revealed that he has up to six offers from the club.

The former Barcelona star has a clear target. He wants to be fit for the upcoming World Cup, which starts in November. That’s why he is considering the offers in detail.

“The market in MLS is very difficult. Some clubs are interested, but they don’t have space, so a transfer would have to happen in January. Other teams, on the other hand, have interest and space, but you have to consider if they have a chance to qualify for the playoffs,” Suárez told ESPN.

“If some teams don’t qualify for the playoffs, they will end their season in the first week of October. That’s not helpful for me because I would be a month before the World Cup without a match load. But I am not closing the door to anyone, I have listened to all the offers,” he added.
