Olympique Lyon have an interesting reinforcement, their jersey will be worn by former German international Jerome Boateng, who spent the past ten years wearing the Bayern Munich jersey.
He played 363 matches there. During his time at the Bavarian club, he was one of the members of the German national team, for which he played 76 matches.
At Bayern, his contract expired in the summer of 2021, so he decided to change his engagement, which just became the French Lyon.
He signed a contract at the club until 2023. Boateng will be the fifth German footballer to ever wear the Olympique Lyon jersey.
We can expect to see him in the Czech Republic soon, as Lyon is playing in the group stage of the Europa League with Sparta Prague.
The first match is scheduled for 21 October and will be played in Prague, while Lyon will play on 4 November.
