Sparta fills the stadium at Rangers despite the ban. Kids fill to capacity like they do for the league

Due to racism from the stands in the match against Monaco, Sparta must close their stadium for the first Europa League match against Rangers. However, at least Letná can be filled with children, 6,000 teenagers have already got their tickets.

Sparta fans have waited a long time to come and watch a European Cup group game. When they had the chance last year, it was taken away by the coronavirus pandemic that closed stadiums almost everywhere in the world.

This year, when the summer team again made it through to the Europa League group stage, Sparta fans will once again miss the first game and will only be able to attend two of the three home games. They will have to watch the duel with Rangers only on TV, UEFA punished Sparta for racism from the stands in the match with Monaco.

However, in order to prevent the players from playing in front of a completely empty stadium, something they are fed up with from last season, UEFA has allowed children to attend. A total of 10,000 children can come to Letná, and Sparta has already given away 6,000 free tickets for the “SCool match”, as it called the duel with Rangers.

“The invitation is valid for organised groups of children aged 6 to 14 (children must not be under 6 or over 14 on the day of the match) who arrive at the stadium accompanied by an adult. However, there is a rule that 1 adult must have at least 10 children with him/her and a maximum of 19 children.

The visit will be similar to the league visit. Even due to strict restrictions on entry to the stadium, fans are not finding their way to Letná yet.

7,235 fans came to Olomouc, while only 5,136 came to Karviná. 6 263 spectators came to Hradec Králové, while 6 363 found their way to the duel with České Budějovice. 8 115 spectators came to the match with Jablonec.
