Manchester United is still evolving, but the gradual improvement of the whole team cannot be denied. That’s why coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking forward to a new contract.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been the coach of Manchester United since March 2019 and it is now clear that he will be at the club for some more time.

Indeed, the Red Devils have announced that they have signed the Norwegian coach and club legend until 2024, with the contract containing an option for a possible extension for another year.

“Ole has worked tirelessly with his colleagues to lay the foundations for long-term success. The results over the last two seasons have gone from strength to strength and we are all looking forward to seeing our great team develop to its full potential over the next few years,” Ed Woodward was quoted as saying.

There is particular excitement at the club that Solskjaer has put together a young and talented team that plays attacking football, honouring the best traditions of Manchester United. “We are going in the right direction under Ole,” Woodward is clear.

Solskjaer made no secret of his love for Manchester United after signing his contract. Besides, he is enjoying the team he has been able to put together.

“It’s exciting at home, we’ve built a great balanced team with a mix of youth and experience, everyone is hungry for success. I have a fantastic staff around me, we are all ready to take the next step,” Solskjaer said.

The Manchester United coach believes his side has improved not only on the pitch but also off it. He wants to win the biggest trophies with his charges and he is giving his best efforts to this endeavour. But beyond that, he is looking forward to a sold-out Old Trafford.
