Sok Slavie won thanks to two penalties! Fans gush over young talent

Fenerbahce is far from ideal form. They are fifth in the Turkish Super League table, but before the rematch with Slavia, İsmail Kartal’s charges are in a winning mood. They beat Hatayspor 2: 0 on home soil.

The two goals were scored by Serdar Dursun, a fit striker who also played 16 minutes in the opening game against Slavia. Against Hatayspor, coach Kartal made significant changes to the line-up and Dursun started in the starting eleven.

The Turkish big club is currently in fifth place, but only one point behind third-placed Adana Demirspor.

Historically, Fenerbahce’s biggest rivals Besiktas and Galatasaray are in an even worse position in the league table. Besiktas is sixth and Galatasaray is only thirteenth.
