Slovakia vs. Croatia: preview and betting tips
Slovakia hasn’t lost in qualification yet (1-3-0), which is something no one else in the group can boast of. On the other hand, due to unnecessary draws with Malta and Cyprus, it has only six points and is fourth.

The Croatians are a little better off, but even they blame themselves for the unlucky loss to Slovenia. Seven points is not much, especially considering the Red and Whites only beat Cyprus and Malta. After four rounds, they lead their group.
Wednesday’s match against Slovenia was a good one for Stanislav Lobotka, who has recovered and is performing well at the start of the new season. The Croatians also have to watch out for Ivan Schranz, who is this year’s most productive player in the Fortuna Liga (5+2).
In the Croatian squad, the Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric is worth a look, as well as West Ham’s summer signing Nikola Vlasic. Point striker Bruno Petkovic and winger Ivan Perisic could also be dangerous.
The Slovakian team has struggled at the back, scoring more than one goal in only one of their last six games.
Croatia has the opposite problem, keeping a clean sheet in only one of its last seven games.
Given the strength of Croatia’s offense and Slovakia’s leaky defense, I think the visitors will win.
