Partizan have been punished by UEFA for a long time, and like the other Belgrade club (Crvena Zvezda), their fans are very visible and audible. In home games against Nice and Cologne they used banned pyrotechnics and shouted discriminatory chants.
In addition to the stadium closure, the Serbian vice-champion was also fined 53,000 euros. In addition, the EqualGame banner must hang in the stands during the November match against the Moravian side.
Slovácko has already experienced a match without spectators this year and it worked out perfectly. A week ago, the French side Nice were beaten 2-1 by the Moravians in front of family members and friends that UEFA allowed to visit.
Although the atmosphere in Uherské Hradiště is usually friendly, Slovácko are also facing punishment. In the home game against Nice, a fan threw a cup at the back of goalkeeper Marcin Bułka’s head.
The Moravians have a slightly more pleasant path to promotion. Now Kolín awaits them at home and in case of defeat they will fight for promotion in the last round in Belgrade. In addition, if Partizan wins in Nice before that, they will already be sure of first place against Slovácko.
