Slávists are getting ready for the Champions League rematch! To advance and earn ten million, all they need is not to lose at home

Women’s football is gaining popularity, even in our country. Last week we could see almost 2,000 fans at Letná in Prague, and now Slavia will play the Champions League qualification at home. They only need to stay undefeated to qualify.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 28th September, Slavia will play the return leg of their Champions League qualifier. They beat Valur Reykjavík 1:0 in Iceland and will only need to stay undefeated in the rematch.

The match will be played at Xaverovo, so Slavia did not take the same step as Sparta, who decided to play AS Rome at the main stadium in Letná.

The reasons are understandable, however, as Sparta did it during the national break, while Slavia will play Slovan Liberec in Eden on Sunday.

However, Slavia fans who want to support their women’s team can get a free ticket if they are also season ticket holders. Those who do not have a season ticket will have to pay CZK 100.

However, the capacity is limited, so it is recommended to be at the stadium on time. And what is the game about? In case of advancement, the Slavs will face the group stage of the Champions League.

There will be only 16 teams and the club will receive CZK 10 million for advancing. And that would really help women’s football.
