Slavia’s opponent is a Gibraltar midget playing in a stadium with an airport behind the goal

St Joseph’s from Gibraltar is the opponent of Slavia in the second round of the Conference League. The Seškis will play in a very unconventional stadium.

St Joseph’s faced Larne in the first round and after an opening draw at home they won 1:0 and advanced to the second round.

Slavia will play their Gibraltar opponents away on Thursday 21 July, with the return leg a week later. The duel will be played at the Victoria Stadium, which has artificial grass.

It is this modest stand that will surely be a treat for the Slavia players. Behind one goal you will find a large rock, while behind the other one planes land and take off. The modest stands have a capacity of 5 000 spectators.

Scottish Rangers also played at Victoria Stadium in 2019. The hated rivals of Prague’s S’s took on St. Joseph’s in the first preliminary round of the Europa League. The first leg in Gibraltar was won 4-0, the home rematch 6-0.
