Slavia’s key figures on the road to promotion: creative Ševčík, machine gun Usor and confidence at stopper
It was expected that Slavia would dominate and that Poland would defend the draw, but the opposite was true and Jindrich Trpišovský’s charges left Raków with a 1:2 defeat, for which they were still happy. A completely different performance will be needed in the home rematch of the Conference play-offs, which players should make it happen?

Petr Ševčík
When his health holds he’s unstoppable, when it doesn’t Slavia have a problem with linking defence and attack. That will be his biggest task in the rematch, holding the ball, taking it out and getting it to the wing positions.
He is one of the best dribblers in the league for a reason, plus he reads the game well and probably has the most accurate passing of the team after Nicolae Stancio’s departure. If he struggles, it will be hard for Susiwani to get into Rakow’s well-functioning defensive zone.
Moses Usor
Maybe a surprising name for some, as Usor is not even sure if he will start in the starting lineup. However, he is the only offensive player who is not afraid to shoot and that is why he should not be missing in a game in which Slavia will be tightening up.
The Nigerian talent is not only not afraid to shoot, but he is looking for the end. He fired three times in Poland, each time just wide, and gained confidence at the weekend when he scored twice as a substitute against Pardubice. The Red and Whites need to shoot and shoot, and in that respect Usor is the way to go.
Aiham Ousou
Who would have thought after Ousou’s embarrassing start in Slavia that he would be a number one stopper and an indispensable player a year later. Taras Kacharaba and Eduardo Santos often make mistakes, but the Swedish defender is a sure thing anyway.
Ousou is simply a modern stopper who sets up the actions of Slavia with his playmaking. He makes the occasional mistake, but they are becoming fewer and fewer and with his style of play, the occasional failure is inevitable.
He has learned Czech so that he can orchestrate the midfield in front of him, he is a true leader, of which there are not many in the current squad of Sešiovans.
