Slavia’s home game with Legia was not a success, if they want to advance directly, they must win the rematch

Slavia Prague did not manage to win the opening match against Legia Warsaw as expected. They lost twice, managed to equalise each time, but did not score the leading goal and will have to win the rematch if they want to advance in normal time.

Hromada had the first chance of the match, almost on the small whitewash, but he missed the open goal of goalkeeper Boruc with his left foot.

A moment later Sima headed but missed from a great chance. Legia took advantage of Slavia’s inefficiency in finishing, taking advantage of a mistake by Holeš and Kolář, who made a senseless run.

The second half was more Slavia’s game, but despite great chances, they did not get the ball past the Polish goalkeeper and drew 2-2 with Legia.

If they want to advance, they have to draw at worst, but in that case the match would go to extra time or to penalty kicks.
