Slavia Prague vs. Zorya Luhansk: Preview and betting tips

Slavia is one step away from returning to the Europa League. It has been missing for two years and is now determined to qualify at any cost. Zorya Luhansk await them in the fourth round. What to bet on?

Slavia’s route to the Europa League goes through Ukraine. In the third preliminary round, the Susians faced Dnipro-1, the second team of last season’s Ukrainian league, and now they will face the third team of last season, Zorya Luhansk.

Against Dnipro-1, Slavia put in a great performance in the first match and won 3:0, in the return leg they secured promotion with a 1:1 result.

Slavia thus put an end to the fear of Ukrainian football, with which it did not have a good experience. The fans would like to forget the cruel defeats against Shakhtar and Dynamo Kiev.

Zorya qualified directly for the fourth round of the Europa League, so they did not play any preliminary round. Jindřich Trpišovský and co. have to take inspiration only from league matches.

Zorya is not doing well there. It lost its first two matches, first to Lviv and then to Kryvbas. After that, they beat Vorskla, but then only drew with Oleksandria. After four rounds, they are in tenth place with four points.

Slavia, on the other hand, is doing well in terms of results. It has won all five league games, adding to that a promotion over Dnipro-1. The game is a bit scrappy at times, but Sšiovans can get results.

Even Zorya is not playing a rematch on home soil. Slavia will travel to Lublin, Poland in a week. They will want to decide the double-header, just like with Dnipro-1, ideally in Eden. They need to play offensively and more goals could be scored.
