Indeed, Jindřich Trpišovský had to deal with a lot of absences. Peter Olayinka, Srdjan Plavsic, Petr Ševčík and Michael Krmenčík are not available. In addition, Jan Kuchta was out of training, Ivan Schranz was sick.
However, there is nothing to talk about in goal, Ondřej Kolář will surely jump in between the three sticks. Jan Bořil will be ready to play only for a certain part of the game, according to the coach, so Oscar Dorley will play on the left.
Alexander Bah is one of the few players who is 100% healthy, so he will probably rotate on the right side with Lukas Masopust again.
But the stopper pairing is uncertain. Taras Kacharaba will probably start, but there is a question mark next to him. Either David Zima, who is almost half-way there without his mentor Ondrej Kudela, or Tomas Holeš, who played a rematch against Ferencváros here.
In the centre of the midfield, only one position is certain and that is Nicolae Stanciu. The Romanian playmaker is the best player of the team this season and he is pulling the team with his performances. Jakub Hromada will probably start at the shield midfielder position, ahead of either Ibrahim Traoré or Ondřej Lingr.
On the right side, the coaches will put the aforementioned Masopust, who works well in collaboration with Bahe. The left midfielder position will probably be taken by Abdallah Sima, who is slowly getting back to his previous form. Ivan Schranz is also a possibility if he is healthy.
Jan Kuchta is the number one at the moment, his health is a question mark. But if it is possible, the Sešiovan hitter will start the game.
The expected line-up of Slavia::
Kolář
Bah – Kačaraba – Holeš – Dorley
Hromada – Traoré
Masopust – Stanciu – Sima
Kuchta
