The coronavirus complicates life for all of us, footballers and football fans included. Unfortunately, even 2022 won’t change that.
Slavia will face a very attractive opponent in the Conference playoffs. It will travel to Turkey to play Fenerbahce. There is a devilish atmosphere in the stadiums of all three Turkish clubs, which the players and fans of the Prague team are looking forward to.
But the Slavs will not be able to compare their vocal cords with the Turks. In Turkey, there is a ban on visiting fans for all matches, including European Cups. This measure is due to a lot of people infected with coronavirus and it should not change until the start of the match (17 February).
“We therefore advise fans not to travel to the match. Fenerbahce SK has ticket sales set up for local fans and Slavia are not entitled to any tickets for the away sector,” Slavia informed on its club website.
The return leg will be played in Eden on Thursday 24 February. It is also likely to be without away fans.
