Conference League
Seeding
Unseeded
Seeded teams are those that have been promoted from the second place of the Conference League, unseeded teams are those that have been relegated from the Europa League. Slavia can face all opponents except Sparta, at this stage it is not yet possible for teams from two countries to clash. On paper the most acceptable opponent would probably be Rapid Vienna, but Slavia have shown that they can deal with anyone. Like Leicester, who can get it again after a year.
Sparta have much more acceptable opponents. Probably the worst possible draw would be Bodo Glimt or Karabakh, as they are unattractive opponents, yet extremely tough. Randers or Maccabi could be an interesting draw for Letna.
Champions League
Seeding
Unseeded
The parade of the best teams in Europe will slowly start to shrink. Of the 16 teams, 4 are from England, 3 from Spain, 2 from France, 2 from Italy, 2 from Portugal, 1 from Germany, 1 from the Netherlands and 1 from Austria.
The biggest favourites to win are Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and PSG. It is the French side that will have a rather unpleasant draw from second place, apart from Lille and Manchester City they can get all the opponents from the part of the seeded.
Another big player among the unseeded is Chelsea, last year’s winner of the competition. The latter has a limited selection, and can only play against Ajax, Lille, Bayern or Real Madrid.
Europa League
Seeding
Unseeded
We will be watching an extremely crowded Europa League this year, which is all the more unfortunate that there is no Czech participant. Among the biggest favourites to win are Sevilla, who are the kings of this competition, as well as Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, Porto, Barcelona and West Ham.
Seeded are the teams that finished second in their groups, the winners are waiting directly in the eighth finals.
