Sign a Barcelona jersey? No, I’m not doing that. Watch how F1 driver Carlos Sainz rejected a fan

Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz, who is currently defending the colours of Ferrari, refused to sign a fan’s Barcelona football jersey. Why? The Spanish driver is an honorary member of Real Madrid.
No, I’m not signing this. These were the words heard from the Ferrari driver by a Barcelona fan when Sainz refused to sign his jersey.
However, the reason is quite simple and also logical. Sainz is an honorary member of Real Madrid. He only wanted to keep his loyalty to the royal club, which he clearly demonstrated with this gesture.
Not surprisingly, tennis player Rafael Nadal, for example, is one of several athletes who maintain a certain respect for the club of which they are members. Signing a Barcelona jersey would thus contrast strongly with his interests.
Sainz is currently facing the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring, which will take place this Sunday, July 31. It will be the 13th race of the Formula 1 season and his team has a lot of catching up to do.
The Constructors’ Cup standings are led by Red Bull Racing, which has an 83-point lead over second-placed Ferrari. The Drivers’ Championship is led by Max Verstappen (Red Bull) ahead of Sainz’s teammate Charles Leclerc, who is 63 points behind the Red Bull driver.
After Hungary, however, the queen of motorsport will have a mandatory summer break, followed by the Belgian Grand Prix. However, that won’t come until August 28.
