Should Votíková start worrying? Her teammate should have hired a man to assault her teammate
Different region, different morals. I guess that’s what Czech goalkeeper Barbora Votíková, who moved to PSG in the summer, must be saying to herself. One of her teammates was taken into custody for curious reasons.
Different region, different morals. I guess that’s what Czech goalkeeper Barbora Votíková, who moved to PSG in the summer, must be saying to herself. One of her teammates was taken into custody for curious reasons.
Until now, Barbora Votíková has had to deal with only pleasant worries in recent days. She is starting to build a great position in her new team and it seems that she could become the number one goalkeeper.
On Tuesday night she even contributed to the 4:0 win over Real Madrid. But on Wednesday, one of her teammates was taken into custody.
Midfielder Aminata Diallo was reported by L’Equipe to have hired two men to attack her teammate Kheira Hamraoui.
Hamraoui was attacked by two masked men who beat her legs with an iron bar.
Diall did this to take her teammate out of the game for a period of time in order to get into the lineup. She was competing with Hamraoui for a roster spot.
“PSG can confirm that Aminata Diall was taken into regional custody in Versailles on Wednesday morning as part of proceedings for assaulting another player at the club last Thursday evening. PSG strongly condemns the violence committed. The club has taken the necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of the women’s team,” a club statement said.
Besides, the Parisian club announced that it is cooperating with the Versailles police to clarify the facts and is paying close attention to the proceedings.
