And he has found the ideal candidate quite nearby. He doesn’t even have to leave town. According to GOAL, he is interested in the French international, who plays for Manchester United.

Paul Pogba, who Guardiola is said to be interested in, is under contract at Old Trafford until the end of this season and is expected to leave for free in the summer.

So far, the talk has been mainly about him returning to Juventus or going to PSG, so it is questionable how he would approach the possibility of leaving for the other side of Manchester.

Pogba is capable of playing as a six, but also as an eight. Moreover, he is very versatile and can be indispensable for his team if he is used correctly, which he has shown regularly in the national team.
