How low can you go? It’s as if he’s tested Manchester United this season. The English big club is not experiencing a good start to the season in both the domestic Premier League and the Champions League. They fell short to Galatasaray at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

Last season, things didn’t look good for Manchester United at the start, but new coach Erik ten Hag managed to get the team back on track and eventually finished third in the Premier League.

It was expected that in the new season the Red Devils could build on how they finished last season. But the opposite is true. Things are not looking good on the pitch, information about internal problems is surfacing and the results are not ideal either.

10 games, 4 wins, 6 losses. That’s Manchester United’s record this season across all competitions. In the Premier League we find this team only in 10th place, in the Champions League group they are even last.

Yet the Hag might have been delighted with the playing lot. He has Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and Copenhagen in his group. He’s already played the first two teams and it’s not looking good at all.

The Red Devils lost 4: 3 at Bayern, Galatasaray won 3: 2 at Old Trafford on Tuesday. The Turkish side gave away a penalty, and the English giant finished with ten men after Casemiro was sent off.

Manchester United was the more active team in the match, getting into more interesting situations, but the team from Istanbul was more effective and benefited from incredible mistakes of the opponent’s defense.

It’s worth mentioning that the Red Devils led twice in the match after Rasmus Hojlund’s goals, however, goals from Wilfried Zaha, Kerem Akturkoglu and Mauro Icardi decided Galatasaray’s victory.

Bayern lead the table with 100 points, the Turks are second with four points and Copenhagen are third with one point. Manchester United is still without a point.
