Sheriff Tiraspol vs. Mostar Zrinjski: Preview and betting tips

Although Sheriff Tiraspol have dropped several mainstays after a successful season on the cup scene, they will still be favourites in the home rematch of the Champions League first preliminary round against Mostar Zrinjski. The first match did not offer a goal.

Sheriff dominated the Moldovan league last year, having already secured first place three rounds before the end of the season. In the opening game against Mostar, they failed to score on the ground of the outsider, so they have a lot of catching up to do at home.

Considering Sheriff’s experience from last season’s Champions League, home advantage and defensive form, I think the home side will win.
