She got beaten, lost a tooth and her opponent changed her face beyond recognition. I enjoyed it, even though I don’t look it, says the BKFC star

While gloveless boxing is on the rise, it still has a large number of detractors. Women’s fights in particular have not escaped criticism. The water on the mill for all the critics then was the title fight at the last BKFC gala, which offered an incredible cleavage.

As of 2018, the increasingly famous BKFC brand is already operating in combat sports. There are some truly fantastic athletes competing in bare-knuckle boxing under this organization, and there is no shortage of UFC veterans.

Paige VanZant, for example, deserves a mention, as she has attracted quite a number of fans to the organization. However, this former UFC star was able to defeat, for example, Britain Hart, a hard puncher who became a champion.

She defended her title this weekend against Melanie Shah. She was expected to win, she was the favorite, but her opponent was not going to give anything away for free. And she didn’t go into the match with any resignation, on the contrary. She was confident.

But in the first round, she found out who she was up against. “I realized she was much tougher than I expected. I expected her to be tough, but I also expected her to get tired. The fight didn’t go at all the way I wanted,” Shah expressed to BareKnuckleNewsTV.

It’s worth noting that Hart absolutely destroyed her challenger. She knocked out her tooth with one of her punches in the fifth round, and her face changed beyond recognition, as can be seen in the post-fight interview.

“Even though I don’t look it, I enjoyed the whole fight. I enjoyed being in the ring and testing myself. If I could fight Britain again, I would go for it. I’m glad I made it all five rounds, I probably would have done a few things differently in a rematch,” expressed the defeated challenger.

While Shah will take some time to get her act together, Hart is expected to step into the ring later this year in another title defense.
