Sergio Ramos: Messi is the best football has ever produced
In an interview with PSG’s club channel, Sergio Ramos spared no praise for his teammate Lionel Messi. Quite surprisingly, he called him the best product in football history.
In an interview with PSG’s club channel, Sergio Ramos spared no praise for his teammate Lionel Messi. Quite surprisingly, he called him the best product in football history.
Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi arrived at PSG at the same time. Both players were denied contract extensions by their former clubs, so they both left for France in the summer of 2021.
Until now they were only rivals on the pitch, now they were to work together in one team. The fact that this would not be easy was evidenced by an incident last summer when they had a row during training.
It seems that all the wrongs are healed and both players are getting along great. The good relationship is also evidenced by Sergio Ramos’ recent interview with PSG’s club channel. In it, the Spanish stopper praised Messi highly.
“I suffered for several years when I played against Leo Messi. Now I can enjoy him to the full,” said Ramos, referring to the fact that guarding Messi in El Clásico matches was often impossible.
“Messi is the best football has ever produced, ” the Spanish footballer added, quite surprisingly.
This statement will certainly not go down well with Real Madrid fans in particular. They still remember Cristiano Ronaldo’s involvement in the Spanish capital and they can’t get enough of him. They also see Ramos as a certain symbol of the rivalry between Real and Barcelona.
Now their darling is praising and calling the Barcelona legend the best player in history. Even though relations between the Spanish clubs are no longer as strained as they were in the days of Jose Mourinho, Real fans will still not be pleased by this interview.
While Messi is at PSG and is still putting in great performances, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia at the age of thirty-seven. It is not impossible that he will end his career there.
