Schick top scorer in the Bundesliga? He’s usually the favourite at the bookmakers

The Bundesliga is back. The first round kicks off on Friday. The competition has undergone many changes. Offensive stars like Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland have left. So it’s interesting to see the betting odds on who will be the top scorer. Patrik Schick is often the favourite. How is he doing?

Robert Lewandowski has left Bayern Munich, Erling Haaland has left Borussia Dortmund. Of the trio that dominated the Bundesliga scoring statistics last season, only Patrik Schick remains in the competition.

The Czech striker is understandably among the bookmakers’ favourites to dominate the scoring charts in the new season. In five of the eight bookmakers that have listed odds, Schick is the biggest favourite.

All eight bookmakers are clear that Sadio Mané and Christopher Nkunku will be vying for the goal scoring crown alongside Schick. Nkunku will be third in the standings according to the odds, only Unibet believes him to be second.

Schick is the odds-on favourite with WSN, Unibet and Sporting Index, while Mané is the same odds-on favourite with Bwin, BetVictor and Pari Match. William Hill and Bet-at-home believe in Mané’s dominance.
