Erling Haaland is likely to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer and the Westphalian club is looking for possible replacements. Sport Bild reports that there are two names on the list, one of them being Patrik Schick.

Patrik Schick is playing in the form of his life, scoring goal after goal, is the driving force behind Leverkusen and is chasing Robert Lewandowski in the Bundesliga goalscorers table.

The Czech striker even leaves behind a star talent in Erling Haaland, who is likely to leave Germany’s top competition in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund, while still hoping to keep the Norwegian marksman, are keeping an eye out for potential replacements. According to Sport Bild media, they have two names on their list.

In addition to Schick, the Westphalian outfit are monitoring the situation surrounding Sebastien Haller, who is shining in an Ajax Amsterdam jersey.

Schick has started 18 competitive games this season, scoring 16 goals and adding 3 assists. Haller boasts 22 goals and 6 assists in 24 games.

According to the German media, it will be easier for Borussia to acquire the Ajax star, Haller is expected to cost around €40 million. Schick would reportedly be even more expensive.

Sport Bild also notes that Leverkusen will not want to let their gem go to a direct rival. Furthermore, Schick is under contract until 2025, so there is certainly no need to rush to sell.
