The pre-Christmas or even Christmas period is full of good news. Especially Patrik Schick must be delighted. Transfermarkt has significantly increased his estimated value, WhoScored ranks him among the 10 best footballers in Europe.
Transfermarkt updates the estimated values of individual footballers towards the end of the year. The increase in Patrik Schick’s price tag took place on Wednesday 22 December. According to the prestigious site, the new value of the Czech striker is at 40 million euros.
Until now, Schick’s value was estimated at just €23 million, so it has increased by €17 million.
Then, just on Thursday, there was another update, which means that the Czech striker is a more valuable footballer than the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese was until recently valued at €50 million, but should now be €5 million cheaper than Schick.
Of course, these are only theoretical amounts, but it is still very good news. The Leverkusen star is getting the attention he deserves. And not only on the German server.
The fact that Schick is one of the 10 best players in Europe this season, according to the statistics website WhoScored, must also be an award for Schick.
Schick finished 10th with an average mark of 7.59. Robert Lewandowski (8.08) tops the rankings, followed by Erling Haaland (7.93) and Mohamed Salah (7.89).
The Czech striker is also ahead of stars like Kylian Mbappé, Karim Benzema and Vinicius.
On the other hand, it is the star Ronaldo, whom he has already overtaken in value, or Lionel Messi, that he leaves behind him and his performances.
