Patrik Schick shines in the Bundesliga
Even the last battles in the European leagues came to an end at the weekend. Czech international Patrik Schick also had a very successful season, becoming one of the hottest commodities on the transfer market with Bayer Leverkusen.
As we informed you during the season, Schick was firing sharp in this year’s Bundesliga and if it wasn’t for the sovereign Robert Lewandowski and frequent injuries, he could have fought until the last rounds for the king of all European league scorers.

The best goalscorer is awarded the Golden Boot, published annually by the French magazine L’Équipe. The prestigious award is given to the footballer who scores the most goals in the previous season in any of the top European football leagues.
These points are achieved by multiplying the player’s goals scored by the coefficient of the league in which he played. The toughest leagues, of course, have the highest coefficient. Patrik Schick came an amazing sixth in the competition with 24 accurate shots, leaving behind names such as Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland.
Poland’s Lewandowski won for the second year in a row, scoring 35 goals for Bayern Munich. Kylian Mbappé came second with 28 goals and Ciro Immobile of Lazio Roma and Karim Benzema of Real Madrid shared third place.
