The Arab football world is still not fed up with the arrival of stars from Europe. This time it is Al-Hilal who is taking the lead, and he has reportedly already arranged a meeting with coach José Mourinho!

The trend of big names leaving for the Saudi Arabian league competition has been gaining momentum in recent weeks.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s shaky transfer to Al-Nasser took place in the winter. Less than two weeks ago, the Portuguese’s former teammate, Karim Benzema, also headed to the Arabian Peninsula.

The latter was tempted by the offer of Al-Ittihad, where, among others, the French international, N’Golo Kanté, was heading. The football world simply can’t stop wondering.

So far, no big name has brought in another big Saudi player, Al-Hilal. Ronald Al-Nasser’s arch rival, among others.

In recent weeks, Al-Hilal has been literally grinding its teeth for the spectacular arrival of Argentine Lionel Messi. However, the world champion from the last championship turned around and chose Beckham’s Inter Miami for his next assignment.

The Sheikhs, however, plan to recover quickly from the setback in the transfer market. According to Italian newspaper Foor Mercato, the club’s management has already scheduled a meeting with coach Mourinho.

The current AS Rome coach could thus get a significant financial boost. The question is whether he would even seriously consider leaving the European continent. But money can play a big and important role.

The Portuguese strategist is signed in Italy until June 2024, but the meeting already scheduled will allow him to consider other alternatives for the near future.

With AS Roma, his new season will officially start with a preparatory duel with Tottenham Hotspur. The latter is scheduled for 26 June.

Al-Hilal’s management is thus planning a big comeback in the transfer market after the setback with Messi, as a replacement for the attacking ranks is also in the game.

This is Brazilian Neymar, who ideally should come as the club’s next signing along with Mourinho. At least that’s what the Saudi plans sound like.
