Although the developments surrounding the Liverpool star are much more serious, neither of the footballers will be moving to any Saudi Arabian club before the transfer deadline.
The Athletic, a well-known and trusted foreign website, confirmed on Thursday afternoon that both stars, Jadon Sancho and Mohamed Salah, will not be heading to Saudi Arabia before the transfer deadline.
The Manchester United player has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League after Erik ten Hag failed to include him in the squad for the away game against Arsenal. The reason was reportedly due to his poor performances in training.
Indeed, Ten Hag revealed that the 23-year-old was not injured and did not feature in the line-up due to the aforementioned poor performances. However, these claims by the English big club coach were subsequently called false by Sancho.
It should be noted, Manchester United lost the match at the Emirates Stadium and eventually lost 1: 3. Anyway, as the renowned journalist David Ornstein writes on Twitter or social network X, this transfer will not take place.
The same is true in the case of Salah. However, in his case, it should be added that it is a question of what will happen just after the transfer deadline.
Al Ittihad is still trying to get Salah
As we reported in a previous article, Al Ittihad has sent offers of £100m and then up to £150m to Liverpool. However, both were rejected by the English big club. Proof of how the Saudi champion is desperate to get Salah is another increase in the offer.
This time by £25 million. The current offer is now £175 million. But it doesn’t stop there, Al Ittihad has also included in the improved offer the possibility of increasing this amount to £215 million.
So although Salah will not be moving anywhere today, the Thursday before the transfer deadline, the interest from the Saudi Pro League outfit remains. What’s more, according to recent reports, there are good relations between all parties regarding a potential future transfer.
