After two days of this year’s European Championship, the tournament is probably over for good for three players. Besides Christian Eriksen, two more players will not finish the tournament.

Halfway through the first half of the Russia-Belgium game, there was another ugly duel.
Russia’s Daler Kuzyaev and Belgium’s Timothy Castagne collided.

Kuzyaev, a midfielder for Russia’s Zenit St. Petersburg, suffered a head-on collision
a concussion.

His further appearances at the European Championships are probably over. The Russian team is losing a member of its starting line-up.

The tournament is over for the Leicester right-back. He has been transferred
to a hospital in St. Petersburg, where he was diagnosed with a double fracture
of the eye socket.

Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen was also substituted in the match due to injury,
but coach Roberto Martínez said it shouldn’t be serious.
