At 24, Kylian Mbappé is probably already secured for life. But if he wants to secure the next two generations in succession, he can take an offer from Al-Hilal, who are offering €700 million per year.
Kylian Mbappé likes money, that’s no secret. Before last season, he was waffling between Real Madrid and PSG, finally being tempted by a royal offer of 60 million euros per season, plus a signing bonus of 100 million euros and a loyalty bonus of 90 million euros after two years.
At the time, it was an astronomical salary, as up until then the highest paid footballer in the world, Lionel Messi, was taking almost half that at PSG, €35 million per season. But then Saudi Arabia stepped in and Mbappe’s status as the world’s highest paid player lasted only half a year.
Cristiano Ronaldo in fact moved to Saudi Arabia, where he received 200 million euros per year in his contract, more than triple what Mbappé takes in Paris. The Saudis threw themselves even more in the summer, with Benzema reportedly getting a salary on the level of Ronaldo, Kante expected to take €100 million, and other arrivals shuffling the salary ladder.
But Mbappé can very quickly return to the top of the ladder. PSG have placed him on the transfer list and a historic offer has arrived from Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hilal is offering the Parisians 300 million euros, the most expensive transfer to date is that of PSG, who paid 222 million euros for Neymar. But the Saudis would pay even more To Mbappé.
al-Hilal is offering the 24-year-old a salary of 700 million euros per season, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. In more detail:
€700,000,000 per year
€58,333,333 per month
€13,461,538 per week
€1,917,808 per day
€79,908 per hour
€1331 per minute
€22 per second
Al-Hilal has reportedly already agreed a deal with PSG, now all that’s left is to sort out Mbappé’s wishes. It’s hard to imagine the most valuable footballer spurning a European career to go to Arabia at such a young age.
Real Madrid have been very interested in Mbappé for a long time, with whom the player has reportedly already agreed a deal. The problem, however, is the animosity between the management of the two clubs, with neither side willing to make the first move.
