Ronaldo to PSG? I admire him, but it would be very difficult for us with the three players we already have, acknowledged club president Chelaifi
French club PSG is undoubtedly one of the best football clubs in the world. The attack is awe-inspiring, featuring Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. French club PSG is undoubtedly one of the best football clubs in the world. The attack is awe-inspiring, featuring the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. However, many are also hoping for the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. This is not the only topic on which the club’s president, Nasser Chelaifi, has commented.
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most talked about footballers at the moment. He is currently a free agent, he had a dispute with several people at Manchester United and both parties finally decided on terminating his contract.
His team is doing well in the national team and there is still a chance to win a championship trophy. However, Ronaldo, who came off the bench in the last game, may not be the main architect.
His successor, Goncalo Ramos, scored a hat-trick, which may well have provided the basis for the next competition. Whatever the outcome of the tournament, Ronaldo will have to address his next steps. Where will they lead?
Many fans want him to join PSG, where he would play with Lionel Messi? But is that realistic? Probably not even, at least according to the words of club president Nasir Chelaifi.
“I admire him, he is a legend and one of the best footballers in history. But it would be very difficult for us with the three players we already have,” Chelaifi said, according to Reuters.
Thus, Chelaifi mentioned that the club also has Neymar and Kylian Mbappé besides Messi and the Portuguese legend would most likely not make it into the starting lineup.
And such an engagement simply makes no sense. Moreover, he might not play with Messi for long. The Argentine’s contract expires in the summer and it is questionable whether he will decide to extend it.
“Both sides are happy, but we said we would talk about it after the World Cup,” the PSG president said.
