Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney once formed a truly lethal attack together at Old Trafford, winning one trophy after another for Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United. And it’s possible we’ll see the same lethal duo in the future in the form of their sons.
We have seen the sons of famous fathers succeed and often even surpass them. A great example is the Maldini family, who have settled down intergenerationally at AC Milan.
Currently, Daniel Maldini is trying to build on the success of his ancestors, but he has broken with the tradition of his father Paolo and grandfather Cesare and moved into the attacking ranks instead of the defence.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, Kai Rooney and Filip Matic are now trying to achieve similar success at Manchester United. Needless to say, they are not doing badly at all, especially the former, who also has a big advantage in adaptation, which if he embarks on a career as a professional footballer, he will find.
After all, Ronaldo Jr. has already played for Real Madrid, later for Juventus and now he is running around the pitch in a Manchester United jersey. And he’s got a great start, with his grandmother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro letting it be known that he’s far better than the star CR7 was at his age.
If you can guess then, how did Ronaldo Jr. score his first goal for the Red Devils? Simply from a penalty. He resembles his father in this too, which of course is no mean feat when you live that kind of life, confidence is a relatively simple thing.
On the other hand, of course, he has to come to terms with the fact that free life and public events will almost always be accompanied by journalists or raging people. Everything has its flip side.
However, young Rooney is also doing really well, scoring 4 goals against Liverpool this autumn, but his team still lost 5-4.
Philip has already spent some time with these two sons of his famous parents and it is possible that they will meet together in the A-team at Old Trafford one day.
