Saturday night was special for the player with the number eleven. The Brazilian dribbler Rodrygo played his seventh game in white this season and scored his 150th win with a 4-1 triumph over Espanyol Barcelona. He also made the game’s decider in the 75th minute.
“Winning in this jersey is always extremely important, it’s always our goal. It was a tough game. We didn’t make it easy for ourselves tonight because we conceded an unnecessary goal. But we stayed calm and managed to win the game in the end,” the club website quotes Rodryg as saying.
The game, which also featured Czech national team player Alex Kral, was played in the second half. First, Real’s goalkeeper Courtois unluckily knocked the ball into his own net. But after that, it was only the home shooters.

“The atmosphere during the match was fantastic. The fans deserved to win for their cheering. I have to thank Vini for his great assist. Captain Luka Modric also did an excellent job before my goal. We are constantly improving,” Rodrygo added.
This was Rodrygo’s 150th win in his sixth season at Real. The club’s website tallied up his individual triumphs as follows. LaLiga (101), Champions League (33), Copa del Rey (8), Spanish Super Cup (4), Club World Cup (2) and European Super Cup (2).
