Is Erling Haaland human? Or is he a monster? Or a robot? That’s the question being asked all over England right now. The Norwegian footballer has taken the local Premier League by storm and is tearing it apart. And what’s helping him do it? A slightly bizarre diet.

15 goals and 3 assists in 9 Premier League games. Plus five goals in three Champions League games. Erling Haaland is not worried about the supposed best league in the world and is totally tearing it apart.

So much so that 2 million fans have signed a petition to the British Parliament to expel Haaland from England because he is a robot. That’s how much of a thorn in the side of other teams he is.

And what helps him to be unstoppable for opposing defenders? A rather bizarre diet, which he admitted to in the documentary ‘The Big Decision’. He eats the heart and liver of a cow, for example.

The journalist in the documentary doesn’t believe his eyes when Haaland shows him the products he eats. “But… Is this a heart?” asks Haaland, horrified. “Yes, it’s a heart, ” laughs the Norwegian striker.

“You don’t eat this, but I take care of my body. I think the most important thing is to eat good food that’s as local as possible. People say meat is bad, but which one? The meat you buy at McDonald’s? Or the local cow that eats grass? I eat heart and liver,” Haaland admitted.

The Manchester City killer eats up to 6,000 calories a day. That’s a staggering number, a normal person averages between 2,000 and 3,000 calories a day. Considering that everything Haaland ingests is of good quality and healthy, you can see in him how he has put on a huge amount of muscle over the last two years.

What else is helping Haaland? “The first thing I do in the morning is get some sunlight in my eyes, it’s good for the circadian rhythm. I’ve also started filtering the water a little. I think it can have great benefits for my body,” he says.
