Rich Newcastle lures experienced coach Valverde to team
Newcastle are not doing well at all in the current Premier League season, so it’s no surprise that they are looking for a replacement as coach. One of the candidates is Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde, whom the Newcastle management would love to bring in.

Newcastle’s record in the current Premier League season is woeful. From ten matches, it has collected only four points from four draws and is in the relegation positions.
Newcastle’s management wants to respond to this situation by bringing in player reinforcements as well as a new coach. He should lift the team and get them off the relegation places.
And who could be the new coach of Newcastle? One option is Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde.
Valverde is a fifty-seven year old experienced coach who has been through many clubs. But he hasn’t lasted very long anywhere. His list of engagements includes mainly Spanish clubs like Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol, Villarreal, Valencia and Barcelona, where he coached last time. Valverde has also tried his hand at foreign engagements, having been coach of Greek side Olympiakos for a total of two spells.
According to the English media, negotiations with Valverde have already begun. As far as finances are concerned, they will definitely not be a problem on Newcastle’s side, so it is up to the coach to accept the challenge of coaching a Premier League club.
Newcastle have the opportunity to improve their record this Saturday when they visit Brighton. But the latter is doing quite well this season, being in eighth place and not scoring too many goals. However, if Newcastle want to get closer to the middle of the table, they absolutely have to score.
