Two days before the tournament Vlasto Čepo accepted an offer to fight in Fight Night Challenge. The rapper Rytmus dropped out due to injury and Čepo will fight the heavyweight Serbian Ivan Vicic.

Bad luck is not only sticking to Oktagon, but also to its friendly organization Fight Night Challenge. The latter dropped out of the main event shortly before the tournament.

Patrik Vrbovsky, a.k.a. rapper Rytmus, was scheduled to appear at the FNC 3 tournament tomorrow, Tuesday, December 27. Unfortunately, that will not happen.

The reason is the Slovakian’s health problems, who apologized to his fans on social media. His promised opponent Attila Széki, alias Curtis, will not be present at the tournament.

“Friends, I am very sorry to announce that I cancel the match. I was really looking forward to it, because my opponent had about two months to prepare for his first match, which suited me in terms of his inexperience, psyche, etc.

Believe me, after the fights with Gabor, Marp and all those years of experience, I had a hundred urges to eat my opponent, but unfortunately my health didn’t allow it.

We have been sick for more than three weeks, the whole family is taking antibiotics and I was hoping to be fit at least until 23.12. I’m sorry, but my fight with Curtis is postponed,” he wrote on his social networks.

The replacement isn’t bad by any means, though. Two days before the tournament, Vlasto Čepo, who showed some serious bombs at the last Oktagon tournament in Ostrava, has agreed.

He injured his knee, but managed to recover and on Tuesday he will face Serbian Ivan Vicic. The latter will definitely have the weight advantage, although Cepa’s skills should be on a higher level.

“EL CHAPO will still be able to fight in his royal discipline before the end of the year. The tough knockout artist returns to the FNC ring where he saw off Jevický last time.

The Serbian Vicic has 37 fights in MMA and in his last one he met the legendary Frenchman Le Banner. And most importantly, he’s a heavyweight! Thehammers will fly!” wrote the organization on its network.
