There has been talk for some time that KSW is planning a tournament in our territory in cooperation with the RFA. The RFA promoter has now confirmed the cooperation with the Polish organization and explained how it will take place.
The cooperation between KSW and RFA is a reality! It was admitted by the promoter of the domestic organization Boris Marhansky himself, who has the fifth tournament of his organization behind him.
How will this cooperation take place? “I have already expressed my opinion on this topic more than once. We have an excellent relationship with KSW. I met with them and we went to see their event.
We presented them with some of our ideas of how we want to do our events and how we want to build our organization. Part of our foundation is that we give space to stand-up fighters, where we have 3-5 of those fights at each gala.
I think that’s a very good step. Those matches are excellent and it’s good for the audience. As far as KSW is concerned, we will definitely share wrestlers. We won’t stop our wrestlers from fighting in KSW. In the same way, we will bring wrestlers from KSW,” he said at the press conference.
This plays into what has been speculated for a while, which is KSW coming to the Czech Republic. Of course, the organization will need domestic fighters as well, and those are the ones RFA should offer to host.
But so far this tournament is not confirmed, so let’s be surprised if it will actually happen. But from the perspective of both organizations it makes sense. The dissatisfied ones will be mainly the Octagon.
