Real Madrid want to bring Edinson Cavani into the attack

Real Madrid are putting together plans to strengthen their attack. And according to the latest information, it could be a very interesting reinforcement. The management of the Spanish club wants to bring Edinson Cavani!

Real were also interested in Cavani this summer after failed negotiations for the arrival of Kylian Mbappé. However, this transfer was eventually abandoned.

According to Spanish media reports, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez wants to resume negotiations for Cavani’s arrival and try to bring him in the winter transfer window.

However, it would only be a six-month loan deal. The priority for Real remains the transfer of Kylian Mbappé or Erling Haaland. Cavani should thus act as an insurance in case one of these players cannot be brought in.

However, Carlo Ancelotti is still hesitating over this transfer. The Italian coach has strong confidence in his attacking players and is not currently looking for anyone to join the attack.

Should the Real coach eventually agree to the transfer, Manchester City’s permission is also not a given. The problem could be in the length of the six-month loan that Real are demanding. The English club might not release their striker.
