Brazil has always produced excellent attacking youngsters who have been able to thrill the stands. And one such gem is currently playing for Palmeiras. His name is Endrick, he’s 16 years old, and he’s already being courted by Real Madrid.
Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez can’t get enough. When he brought in virtually unknown Brazilian youngsters Vinícius and Rodrygo, he was accused of relying on untried players with no experience in Europe instead of stars. But time has proved him right and both are currently pulling for Real Madrid.
That’s why the Valdebebas offices are looking to Brazil again. While Barcelona won the battle for Neymar, Real did better in the battle for Vinícius. This time, Los Blancos will be in a tug of war with PSG for Brazil’s current biggest jewel.
According to the latest information from MARCA newspaper, the Parisian club has offered 20 million euros for the 16-year-old. Palmeiras, however, are asking for at least €35-40 million.
Barcelona were also interested, but it doesn’t look like a transfer to Camp Nou. Thus, the most likely arrival is to Madrid, where Real are pursuing the same strategy as with Vinícius and Rodrygo. He moves quietly, letting other teams be seen, but working all the more on the player’s arrival. He is currently thinking about whether to make Palmeiras an offer in the next few days.
Reportedly, he already has the player’s family and neighborhood on his side, who are convinced of a transfer to Real Madrid. The most important thing, however, is what the player thinks. However, Los Blancos have an advantage here too, as Endrick has been a big Real Madrid fan since he was a kid.
If Real Madrid do indeed complete the transfer of Endrick, they will have to wait until July 2024 for the young striker to arrive, because by then he will be 18 years old and will be able to join any team.
