Real Madrid in the Premier League? Florentino Perez reportedly wants to leave La Liga!
Revolution? Quite possibly. Real Madrid, or rather its boss Florentino Perez, has had enough of clashing with the boss of Spain’s top league competition and is looking into whether it is possible to leave the competition and swap it for another.

The Superliga hasn’t worked out yet, yet Florentino Perez refuses to give it up. That’s why he is constantly at loggerheads with La Liga boss Javier Tebas. The financial injection that Tebas approved has not helped their relationship.
The Real Madrid boss has had enough. After all, Los Blancos are one of the last three clubs to refuse to give up the Superliga. Threats don’t apply to him. On the contrary. They’re motivating him to look for solutions.
And one of them is a possible end in La Liga. At least that’s what the Catalan sports daily Mundo Deportivo reported, but the information has been picked up by several other media, even some purely Real Madrid-related sites.
According to the aforementioned newspaper, Perez is most inclined to move to the Premier League, but if that doesn’t work, they are also thinking about the Bundesliga or Serie A.
However, a move to the Premier League would be the most difficult one ever. Understandably because of Brexit, which has already taken place. Bureaucratically, it would be very difficult to see such a move through to a successful conclusion.
And the reaction of the La Liga boss? Only laughter. “At the moment we are hearing a lot of nonsense,” Tebas wrote on social media.
The speculation was eventually denied by Real Madrid on their club website. However, to what extent this statement can be trusted is questionable.
